The 6 series TTV Warrior uses a ZF variable transmission; Deutz-Fahr call this TTV. The smaller series uses an Eccom multi-plate style while bigger models use the SMATIC version. Both transmissions employ the same philosophy of using more mechanical power than hydrostatic. This key feature allows the tractor to become more efficient, as the transmission draws on less engine power in order to operate. Transmission speeds are infinite, with maximum road speed of 50 km/h at a reduced engine rpm. The TTV transmission is equipped with three drive modes and two cruise control speed settings.
