The engine fitted to the Agrolux Series of tractor is the fuel efficient SDF 1000 series. This engine is Tier 3 and comes in 3 cylinder turbocharged, or 4 cylinder turbocharged intercooled formats, depending on model. With this technology there is a new piston bowl profile for a cleaner air to fuel mix, as well as a higher compression ratio, resulting in greater power and increased fuel efficiency.
